As a Maine-based company, we’re committed to our local communities and support them in various ways. As a hospitality company, we’re invested in responsible travel and participate in several charitable partnerships to be a leader in the industry and advocates for corporate responsibility.

Below are just a few of our philanthropic endeavors:

Portland Museum of Art: Various members of our team have contributed to healthy dialogue surrounding the cultural history of Maine and it's tourism industry at the Portland Museum of Art. Migis Hotel Group properties also sponsor the Maine Island Art Trail.

Camp Sunshine: As part of Migis Lodge's 100th Anniversary Celebration, we've partnered with our neighbors at Camp Sunshine, a retreat on Sebago Lake for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. In honor of 100 years at Migis Lodge and with the help of our family, friends, guests, staff, and vendors, we are hoping to raise $250,000 to send 100 families to Camp Sunshine.

Maine Audubon Society: For 2016's #raiseyourglass campaign, Migis Hotel Group, in conjunction with Shipyard Brewing, Fess Parker Wines, and Ice Pik Vodka, donated $3,000 to Maine Audubon Society to ensure future conservation of some of Maine's most beautiful places.

Autism Society of Maine: In 2015, Migis Hotel Group with partners Shipyard Brewing and Fess Parker Wines, donated nearly $2,000 to the Maine Autism Society to fund future research and understanding of autism.

Catherine Morrill Day Nursery: Migis Hotel Group has supported Catherine Morrill Day Nursery by donating staff appreciation meals.

USM Hospitality & Tourism Program: Various members of Migis' management team have actively educated students by teaching classes over several semesters and serving as guest speakers over the course of several years since the inception of the Hospitality & Tourism program.

Center for Responsible Travel: Migis Hotel Group donated 6 nights at our various hotels (~$2,100 value) in 2016 to the Center for Responsible Travel to support the program and environmentally responsible travel in general.
